Text messages

Apex texts you for two reasons: a one-time sign-in code when you ask for one, and account or coaching notifications you opted into in the app. This page shows the exact consent you give, where you give it, and how to stop.

The program

Sender. Apex, a tennis coaching app operated by Evolve and Thrive AI LLC.

Recipients. People who entered their own mobile number in the Apex app and verified it with a code. Nobody else.

Messages. One-time sign-in codes; account notifications (for example a payment receipt or a security notice); coaching notifications you asked for (for example a coach delivering the stroke review you requested). No marketing, no promotions.

Frequency. Varies with your use of Apex; typically a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message. You get one confirmation and nothing further. Reply START to opt back in. Help. Reply HELP, or write to privacy@myapex.coach.

Where consent is given

There is one opt-in path. It happens on the sign-in screen of the Apex app for iOS and Android, on the Phone tab:

  1. The player opens the app and chooses Phone on the sign-in screen.
  2. They type their own mobile number.
  3. Directly under the number field, before any button appears, the consent language below is shown in full.
  4. They tap Verify. That tap is the consent action. A one-time code is sent to the number; entering it completes sign-in and confirms the number is theirs.

Apex does not send texts to numbers entered by anyone other than their owner, does not offer keyword sign-up, and does not collect numbers on paper, in person, or on this website.

Privacy
